Community Guidelines

Before we get to enjoy a night of fabulous music and vibrant loving queer energy in this awesome space, we want to give you some information that will make it the best night it can be. Please make sure to read all the information below. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at juiceboxroc@gmail.com, or send us a message on Instagram or Facebook.

Party Etiquette

Juice Box and the venue aim to provide you a fun, safe, and affirming party space for all, especially queer, trans, and BIPOC folks, to enjoy all night long. All allies are welcome, but we ask that you adhere to the same community guidelines and help keep our queer, trans, and BIPOC folk safe. We ask that you be courteous, patient, and respectful towards the staff, the space, and all attendees. Please do not litter or vandalize the venue. Remember to tip your bartenders.

We will not tolerate any violence, homophobia, transphobia, or discrimination of any kind. You will be asked to leave the premises if you violate any of our rules, and there will be no refund.

We know that it’s been a while since some of you have been to a social gathering like this. Since all of our attendees are absolute cuties, you may want to make some connections on the dance floor. However, there is a right way to do it. We recommend you read up on this guide, put together by the Pluri Initiative, and brush up on those flirting skills. Remember that consent is sexy and required.

Restroom Access

All restrooms at JUICE BOX events are gender-neutral for the night despite the posted signs, so feel free to use whichever is the most convenient for you.

Picture and Video

You can of course take pictures and videos of you and your friends! But we ask that you be respectful of others and the dance space when taking photos. Do not use flash when in the dance area, and do not take pictures or videos of anyone without their consent. We will have a backdrop setup in the lounge area for photos as well. We will have a volunteer who can help you take pictures as well. If you share any pictures or videos of yourself and your friends on social media, please tag us at @JuiceBoxROC and #JuiceBoxROC. We may share your pictures and videos on our story and profile.

Personal Belongings

Outside food, drinks, and weapons are not allowed into the venue. It is your responsibility to make sure that all of your personal belongings (i.e. cash, payment cards, vaccination card, devices, clothing, etc) are safe throughout the night. We do not provide coat check service. The venue and Juice Box are not responsible for any loss or damages to your belongings.

Assistance

If you need any assistance because you are being harassed, attacked, in need of medical attention, or see someone who seems like they need assistance, please get in touch with one of the people wearing a red LED wristband. They are here to help you to the best of their abilities. We will have hand sanitizer, disposable masks, foam earplugs, condoms, lube, test strips, and nasal sprays that aid in the reversal of respiratory depression. Feel free to ask for what you need to make your experience at Juice Box better.

Parking

For Photo City Music Hall: Parking spaces will be limited. Therefore, we recommend that you carpool to the venue. It’s even better if you can utilize a rideshare service (i.e. Uber or Lyft). You can also utilize the city lot on Culver Road for parking as well (please refer to the map below). The Culver Road lot is city-owned and a bit further away, so please be aware that you may do a bit of walking to get to the venue. If you drive to the venue, please do not leave any valuables in your vehicle. Photo City Music Hall and Juice Box are not responsible for any loss or damages to your belongings or vehicle.

For Water Street Music Hall: TBD.
